Sunday, 11 December 2011 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church the Hot Springs Music Festival presented a concert featuring the Festival Chorus, Henderson State University Brass Faculty, and friends. The concert, billed as a Winter Holiday Concert and titled “Long Ago and Far Away,” featured a delightful assortment of world musics and a diverse program of holiday music from various cultures. The afternoon performance ended with the full house on their feet applauding the performance of Craig Courtney’s “A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas.”
